A truly serene getaway & paradise for pet parents!
We recently spent 2 nights (Sept 26–28) at Khola Haowa Resort, Hasnabad, along with our large Labrador Retriever, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience.
Pet-Friendly & Expansive Ambience: The resort is exceptionally spacious, clean, and surrounded by lush greenery, open ponds, and vast fish farms (bheris). The best part was watching our pet roam freely off-leash without any unnecessary restrictions.
Warm & Humble Hospitality: The staff members are incredibly polite, simple (shorol), and treat guests like family. Their attentiveness made us feel right at home.
Delicious, Homely Food: The kitchen is spotless and spacious. The food was flavorful, fresh, and not overly spicy. The mutton/chicken cooked over an authentic earthen stove (matir unun) on firewood was the absolute highlight! A special thank you to the team for taking the extra effort to cook wholesome, pet-safe food for our Labrador with so much care.
Complete Package & Activities: Their packages are very thoughtfully designed. The boat ride along the Ichamati and Bidyadhari rivers—getting a close view of the India-Bangladesh border—and the local toto sightseeing were seamless. The evening Jhumur dance performance was an absolute cultural treat!
